Today was my very first ad shoot, and I have to say, it was an exciting, fun-filled, and eye-opening experience.
From the moment I arrived at the studio, there was a buzz of energy in the air. The team was welcoming, and everyone seemed to be in their zone, preparing for what would turn out to be an unforgettable day. As we got started with the first few shots, I was amazed at how many people were behind the scenes, coordinating everything to perfection. The lighting, camera angles, and even the smallest details were all being adjusted to ensure the best results.
It was fascinating to see all the effort that goes into creating a perfect shot. While I expected there to be a lot of waiting around and setting up, the team made it smooth and fun with music, laughter, and light conversation. By midday, I felt like I had settled into my role and was having a blast.
It was not just about posing; it was about feeling the moment and connecting with the camera. I definitely felt more comfortable as the day went on, and there were several moments where I genuinely enjoyed being in front of the camera.
I would also thank my agent, Charlie, for her constand and prompt response to every query I had and in making this process as smooth and memorable as possible for me. In short, my first ad shoot was a thrilling experience. It was everything I hoped for and more, and I can’t wait to do it again!

It was less than 2 days between me hearing I was shortlisted to completing the assignment; everything was handled very promptly and with plenty of support from Models Direct.
I was tasked to play a Groom for a themed wedding. The assignment involved me and the model Bride taking promotional photographs around Oxford and within the Hotel venue for the Client's Wedding Planning portfolio.
I had no issues at all with communication on the side of the Client via MD, or with MD directly. It was clear what I needed to do to prepare, where/when I needed to be, and I overall I just had a great time taking part in my first professional modelling gig.
I am highly looking forward to my next assignment!

My first shoot with models direct was a brilliant experience.
Everyone from the staff, photographers and other models were very easy to get on with and clear with what was needed.
I felt very well looked after and valued and had such a good time.

Summer Campaign – London Shoot
We had an absolutely brilliant day shooting asummer campaign in London.
The energy on set was relaxed, collaborative, and full of those little moments that make a production genuinely enjoyable.
I had the pleasure of working with a mix of familiar faces and new talent, and the blend couldn’t have been better.
The returning models slipped straight back into that easy chemistry we’ve built over previous shoot, while the new additions brought fresh energy and enthusiasm that lifted the whole day.
A special shout‑out to Gemma at Models Direct, who was fantastic from start to finish. She kept me fully informed throughout the entire process — smooth communication, quick responses, and a real sense of care for both the production and the models. It made the whole experience seamless.
And of course… the model of the day — without question — was Lars the Bassett Hound. Stealing scenes, hearts, and probably a few snacks, Lars delivered every look with natural charm and comedic timing that no human can compete with. An absolute pro.
All in all, a great shoot with a great team. Looking forward to the next one.
