Great communication from the offset from Charlie at models direct! Really friendly and supportive whilst sending me details about a UGC home shoot I was selected for with a fab client.
Lots of helpful communication throughout and I’d highly recommend them as an agency to work with to build your portfolio!

CLIMBING IN CONFIDENCE
The assignment Models Direct sent me on with the National Trust was really good fun but I was very nervous because I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. In this modelling shoot I had to overcome my fear of heights as we were asked to climb a tree for the photos! But the photographer was nice and helped a lot. The tree was easy to climb, there were five of us in the tree and we had lots of pictures taken in different poses. In the end I enjoyed climbing and got more confident as I climbed higher and higher. I think everyone should climb trees because this was what the National Trust says is good for us. I would say that being a model is a great way of doing new things and learning new stuff. If you want to be a model you should join an agency and try to keep your e-portfolio up to date. I did this for the experience and have enjoyed my work as a model.

AN EXPERIENCE TO REMEMBER
I personally joined Models Direct as I have always wanted to do modelling. This was my first modelling assignment and it is something I would definitely like to do again.I was really nervous to begin, but all the staff were very welcoming and made my time there enjoyable. The best part of the assignment was being able to try different clothes on while the stylist decided what looked best. The assignment was based on mother/daughter relationships which involved me having an informal interview over the phone answering questions about my mum, before travelling to the studio in London. There I had clothes chosen, a hair and make-up stylist and then a photo shoot.I gained confidence in this shoot, thanks to the welcoming staff, and gained the skills of posing in front of the camera, and socialising in a different environment. I would definitely recommend this to others - everyone enjoys a bit of pampering and this is exactly what happened! The whole day was informal and friendly and it was an experience to remember, especially having everything done for you.

Fantastic Modeling AgencyI recently had the amazing opportunity to take part in a shoot with Games Workshop for Warhammer through Models Direct, and the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish.
It was my first time working on something like this, and I was thrilled to be involved with such a creative and iconic brand.On the day of the shoot, I was joined by a few other models who were also doing this for the first time, which made the atmosphere really friendly and supportive.
It was great to connect with others who were just as excited and a bit nervous—but we quickly bonded, and that helped everyone feel more relaxed and confident.
We shot a variety of scenes, inspired by the Warhammer universe. Scene Studio team was incredibly professional and welcoming, guiding us through each part of the process and making sure we all felt comfortable. The attention to detail on set was impressive, and it was such a fun and immersive experience.
I would like to thank Gemma at Models Direct, the experience was nothing short of fantastic.
From the very beginning, Models Direct were incredibly organised and professional—they kept us fully in the loop at every stage, and their communication was absolutely top class.
I felt well-prepared and confident going into the shoot, thanks to their clear guidance and support.
I’d recommend them to anyone looking to get started in the industry, and I’m really looking forward to my next opportunity!
