Modelling jobs and more...

I had the pleasure of participating in a shoot today, and I wanted to share my experience. The day began with a warm welcome at reception, where I enjoyed a refreshing cup before heading to the set. There, I met Chris Golding, whose exuberance whose and detailed briefing set the tone for the day. His perspective in the country setting and clear outline of the project were both engaging and informative.
Caitlin, one of the key team members then arrived, while others assumed their roles. I was particularly struck by the fact that two of the carers featured were real-life community staff. Their soothing presence and dedication brought a genuine energy which was infectious.
The photographer’s expertise was exceptional, with some great lighting and angles for every scene. The shoot was a pleasure, thanks to the variety of backdrops—kitchen, living room, bedroom, garden, and market—each thoughtfully scouted. Some scenes were bathed in soft pastel hues, while others, like the riverside walk, were beautifully dappled, creating a joyful atmosphere. The focused nature of the work yet on such a pleasant day was disciplining.
The shoot balanced the challenge of portraying the emotional weight of separation with the need to make the living accommodation accessible and appealing. Having experienced loss myself last year, I found the sensitivity with which this was handled quite moving.
Thank you for the opportunity to be part of it and I look forward to future collaborations.
Best regards, David Dean

My first assignment with Models Direct (MD) and an exceptionally positive one. Jake, the director for the shoot, was very friendly and made everyone feel comfortable and important to the project - to update the clients' promotional image. The camera crew were polite and obviously skilled in their profession. Kate, make-up, was lovely and encouraging (and took years off me, with just a few dabs) and even gave me a new hairstyle, which was flattering. My fellow MD models were all warm-hearted, friendly and mutually supportive. One of them, Gill, soon had us all disclosing our hopes and dreams in the quiet moments between shooting, not quite the Spanish Inquisition and far more pleasant - no torture involved ! All in all, a wonderful introduction into the world of Models Direct

I joined Models Direct after I took semi-retirement and had a bit more spare time on my hands. I am a fairly confident person and love meeting new people. I wanted to do something completely different and it seemed like a fun and interesting thing to do. This was my first assignment and I was booked to pose as part of a couple using Airport Parking Facilities for a holiday company. The assignment took place near Aberdeen Airport and was over three days. I didn't quite know what to expect, but I needn't have worried as the crew were fantastic at putting me at ease and explaining exactly what they needed from me. I thoroughly enjoyed working with my partner and the crew and learned about the process of shooting an advert. I found the whole experience totally enjoyable and really exciting, and would certainly like to do more work like this in the future. I think it has been a great move for me to join Models Direct as they have managed the whole booking process with professionalism. They have also been extremely encouraging and supportive.

We recently took part in a campaign photoshoot as a family—my husband, our two daughters, and me—and we had the best time! The whole experience was so much fun from start to finish. We got to do a mix of beautiful family photos and some really funny, relaxed shots that made us all laugh. The cameraman was an absolute legend. He made everyone feel comfortable, kept the energy high, and captured some amazing moments.A huge thank you as well to the shoot promoter, who was absolutely fantastic. She was so friendly, organised, and made everything feel easy and stress-free. She was brilliant with the girls and helped make the whole experience enjoyable for all of us.We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend it. Thank you for making such wonderful memories for our family!
