I had the pleasure of participating in a shoot today, and I wanted to share my experience. The day began with a warm welcome at reception, where I enjoyed a refreshing cup before heading to the set. There, I met Chris Golding, whose exuberance whose and detailed briefing set the tone for the day. His perspective in the country setting and clear outline of the project were both engaging and informative.
Caitlin, one of the key team members then arrived, while others assumed their roles. I was particularly struck by the fact that two of the carers featured were real-life community staff. Their soothing presence and dedication brought a genuine energy which was infectious.
The photographer’s expertise was exceptional, with some great lighting and angles for every scene. The shoot was a pleasure, thanks to the variety of backdrops—kitchen, living room, bedroom, garden, and market—each thoughtfully scouted. Some scenes were bathed in soft pastel hues, while others, like the riverside walk, were beautifully dappled, creating a joyful atmosphere. The focused nature of the work yet on such a pleasant day was disciplining.
The shoot balanced the challenge of portraying the emotional weight of separation with the need to make the living accommodation accessible and appealing. Having experienced loss myself last year, I found the sensitivity with which this was handled quite moving.

Following our recent family photoshoot, we wanted to take the opportunity to share what a truly fantastic experience we had from start to finish.
From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome by the whole team. Everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely invested in helping us achieve the look and outcome we were hoping for. As a family, it can sometimes be challenging to coordinate everyone and keep young children engaged, but the crew made the entire process feel effortless.
The team went above and beyond to ensure the children were comfortable and entertained throughout the session. They provided colouring books, snacks, and plenty of encouragement, helping to keep the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable. Their patience, energy, and ability to engage with the kids made a huge difference and allowed us all to enjoy the experience rather than feel rushed or pressured.
What stood out most was how naturally the crew encouraged us to interact as a family. They created a fun and relaxed environment where the children could simply be themselves, resulting in genuine smiles, laughter, and special moments together. The team's guidance helped us feel confident in front of the camera, and they were always on hand with suggestions and support to get the best out of every shot.
The whole photoshoot felt more like a fun family activity than a formal photography session. The children had an amazing time on set, and it was wonderful to see them enjoying themselves while creating memories together. The atmosphere was warm, friendly, and professional throughout, making the experience one that we will remember fondly.
We left feeling excited and grateful for such a positive experience and are now eagerly looking forward to seeing the final photographs. Based on our experience, we would highly recommend this team to any family looking for a fun, relaxed, and professional photoshoot experience. I had a lovely two-day experience working with Centrepoint charity on a shoot and video campaign through Models Direct. Everyone involved was incredibly helpful and welcoming, which made the entire experience feel relaxed and comfortable.
A special thank you to Charlie from Models Direct, who explained everything in detail beforehand and was always there for support and reassurance. As-well as Alex and the rest of the team involved in Centrepoint charity really made a difference and helped me feel confident throughout the project!

"Ellison is only 8 months old so couldn't say in his own words but I could tell he had a really good day, the actors and Director were really nice with him and got through all scenes needed.
This was a first for Ellison and myself and the whole day was enjoyable and seeing him being a good boy while filming made me smile.Ellison had to be a teething toddler in an internal training Video for Tesco that gave examples of how to and how not to deal with customer service in a pharmacy setting.
This assignment, has given me confidence that Ellison interacts extremely well with other Actors/Models and is still happy no matter what the situation.It was a fun day out and gave me a sense of pride and also a nice little bit of money for his savings account for when hes older.
We don't live in or around London so opportunities in acting/modeling there never even come up in this area. Joining an Agency like Models Direct gives us the opportunity to be put forward for exciting opportunities. Models Direct works on your behalf and do the job hunting for you. We have been registered with Models Direct for only a few weeks and he has already had his first job.We signed Ellison up as a bit of fun more than anything. Obviously as his parents we feel he has one of the cutest little faces we have seen :) and would love to flick through pictures or films with him in when he is older. Plus what ever money we get out of this can go into a savings account for when he is older.
