Modelling jobs and more...

HiI attended my 1st assignment for Models Direct yesterday with Greene King as an extra.
I had losts of support and encouragement from models direct.
I over thought my wardrobe but did take other outfits so was able to read the vibe of the room and change accordingly.
I really enjoyed the experience in seeing how a video production works and chatting to other models.
After much waiting I finally played a background scene astanding and chatting it was great fun coming up with conversation topics and expressing in a joyful way.Overall I very much enjoyed the day and a big thanks to all at Models Direct, the production team, staff at Greene King and of course all the other models that I worked with that made me feel welcome

JUMPING IN THE AIR
At first I was nervous, as I didn’t know what to expect given that this was my first assignment, but meeting the Action Images team and the other models made it really easy for me to just get on with the job. The best part of the assignment was having the pictures taken and acting out scenarios - the experience as a whole was brilliant. The assignment was for the FIFA 2014 World Cup campaign. We were asked to wear colours of the teams that were participating as well as having our faces painted. Once we were all dressed up we had to pretend to celebrate a goal, or jump in the air etc - acting like fans would at a real game. I gained a lot of confidence, as the team made it really easy for me to be myself and just get on with it. I would definitely recommend my experience to others, in fact I already have because I got a lot out of it, and it would be nice if others could so as well.I would highly advise anyone pursuing a career in the talent industry to join an agency, as it just makes the whole process much easier and for a fraction of the cost. My main reason for joining up with Models Direct was because my friends told me I should do modelling and this agency was very appealing to me. I don’t regret it one bit.

When we received the call from Models Direct about the assignment, we were very excited as it was the first time Adam was called for a shoot. We told him that he was going to play in a little movie. Adam thought it was going to play in Annie, the musical - he was very excited and couldn't wait. On the way to the set we explained his role which was to play happy child of foster parents and play with them on a bed. Anyway, Adam who is a very sociable child got along with everyone on set - the actors, the producers etc and he did exactly as he was told. The more Adam was asked to repeat his scene, the better he was getting as he bonded with his model parents. Overall, Adam said that he had a great time and he would do it again!

I had my first booking with Models Direct today. It was a Charity Photoshoot to raise awareness about Crohn's and Colitis.
It was a moving experience meeting and speaking people with Crohn's Disease. They were really kind and very open to discussions, which I found insightful.
The ambience all through the charity shoot was very welcoming and so lovely. The term, models and all were all so pleasant and inclusive and so it felt more like a wonderful outing with family and friends. This made me feel less nervous and more relaxed.
All the information I received from Gemma from the initial telephone call, emails and messages up to the date of the shoot was most helpful. Thank you Gemma. Thank you so much. I had a great experience and I thank Models Direct immensely for the opportunity of being a part of this amazing charity shoot.
