1st timeI’d like to start by expressing my genuine appreciation for finally being given the opportunity to take part in the recent commercial shoot for Greene King at Cheadle Hulme. This was my first modeling experience with Models Direct since joining back in 2023, and overall, the day itself was incredibly fulfilling. I thoroughly enjoyed being part of a vibrant set, meeting new people, and contributing to scenes I didn’t expect to be involved in — it truly gave me a glimpse into the potential of what this career could be.
That said, I do feel it’s important to share some honest feedback regarding the process leading up to this point. While I’m grateful for the experience, I can’t ignore the fact that it’s taken nearly three years to receive my first assignment. During this time, I’ve seen others come on board and secure shoots within a couple of months, which has been difficult to witness as someone who’s been committed to the journey since 2023.
I understand that opportunities in this industry can be unpredictable, and that sometimes it’s about timing and fit. However, the wait has been disheartening at times, especially without consistent communication or clarity on how I could have improved my chances. I say this not out of complaint, but out of a sincere desire to be considered more actively moving forward.
The shoot reminded me how much I enjoy this space, and I hope this can be the beginning of more regular opportunities. I’m committed, adaptable, and ready to bring more energy and professionalism to future assignments.
Thank you again for the opportunity — I just hope it won’t take another three years for the next one.

On the day of my photo shoot I was a bit nervous as it was my first time but I was also really excited and eager to get started the company I worked with were really friendly and welcoming they were constantly making sure I was always alright throughout the day they provided us with meals refreshments and anything else we may have needed we started off the day getting acquainted with everyone on the team e.g(camerman ,directors ,videographer and the other models ) we then moved to a few different locations where we would take the photos the cameraman was very nice and helpful he gave clear instructions and directions as to what poses and facial expressions to make throughout the photoshoot we would take regular breaks with refreshments provided majority of the photos taken were solo but there were some group photos the company/cameraman made sure we were comfortable at all times which was very reassuring. The experience I had was extremely fun as it was easy to get along with everyone there. Before the final photoshoot we went to dinner at a restaurant and had an enjoyable time which made the experience that much more fun .I would personally say that this is similar to what I expected because overall it was a photoshoot but I didn’t expect to have such a great time and a thrilling two days . To sum it all up I had an amazing experience for my first photoshoot the people I worked with were great I was extremely happy with the way I was treated and is something I would most definitely like to do again

I thoroughly enjoyed my latest acting role, although I was slightly nervous beforehand as it was the biggest job I have had, however the team really made me feel at ease. I enjoyed shooting all the scenes. I filmed for an NHS information film and had to be filmed using the various facilities around the hospital. I gained some new insight into what it is like to be an actor i.e. how long scenes can take to film. I also gained confidence from the experience and feel it will help with my future bookings. I would recommend the experience to others as it was a useful and enjoyable experience. I would tell anyone looking to get into the talent industry to join an agency, which is a very useful move as well as maintaining a quality and up to date portfolio. I am always on Models Direct's websites and social media keeping an eye out for jobs as being proactive is important in order to obtain more work. Following on from the below, we’re prepping for multiple shoots for Fusion Students (https://www.fusionstudents.co.uk/the-fusion-feeling/) to promote their brand new accommodation.
We’d be creating content across the 4 sites (London, Nottingham, York & Liverpool) between July-September, and would likely need around 8 models for each shoot for both photo and video lifestyle content.
We have already worked on similar content for Yourtribe (see below), and we’d like to have the same kind of vibe with a nice varied mix of ‘students’ to represent the target audience. They will be in various social spaces across the site such as kitchen areas, fitness rooms, social lounges and study areas, just relaxing and having a nice time!

In terms of usage, this content would be used for;
PHOTO - website, social media, print (A4/A3 formats) and paid media
VIDEO - website, social media (with some formatted to be used in Reels, TikTok etc) and paid media
Do you have people available during that period (exact dates tbc) who you think would be suitable for this, and their day rates?
If the cost for 1 day differs to hiring them for a few days, then it would also be useful to know what that would look like to have them on board for 2 or 3 days.
