Today was my very first ad shoot, and I have to say, it was an exciting, fun-filled, and eye-opening experience.
From the moment I arrived at the studio, there was a buzz of energy in the air. The team was welcoming, and everyone seemed to be in their zone, preparing for what would turn out to be an unforgettable day. As we got started with the first few shots, I was amazed at how many people were behind the scenes, coordinating everything to perfection. The lighting, camera angles, and even the smallest details were all being adjusted to ensure the best results.
It was fascinating to see all the effort that goes into creating a perfect shot. While I expected there to be a lot of waiting around and setting up, the team made it smooth and fun with music, laughter, and light conversation. By midday, I felt like I had settled into my role and was having a blast.
It was not just about posing; it was about feeling the moment and connecting with the camera. I definitely felt more comfortable as the day went on, and there were several moments where I genuinely enjoyed being in front of the camera.
I would also thank my agent, Charlie, for her constand and prompt response to every query I had and in making this process as smooth and memorable as possible for me. In short, my first ad shoot was a thrilling experience. It was everything I hoped for and more, and I can’t wait to do it again!

First Family Shoot
We had such an amazing time on our very first family modelling shoot at Woolacombe Bay Holiday Park. The day was packed with fun – from swimming and water slides to the wave surfer, adventure golf, the restaurant and even the beach. It didn’t feel like “work” at all, just a really fun day together as a family.
Kevin and Guy were brilliant – so easy to get along with, very professional and made us feel comfortable straight away. They guided us through everything step by step which really helped, especially as it was all new to us.
A huge thank you to Gemma too – she was incredible from start to finish. She kept in touch the whole way through, always quick to reply to our questions, and just so friendly and reassuring. She made the whole process smooth and stress-free, which meant we could just relax and enjoy the experience.
Thank you Models Direct for such a brilliant opportunity – we had a blast and would love to do it again!

I couldn't have hoped for a better 'first time experience' with Models Direct if I had wished for it! The communication with Charlie was exemplary from start to finish! I received all the shoot information long before day with numerous opportunities to ask questions at every stage! The information was detailed, clear and concise and even provided background information regarding our Production Team! If that wasn’t enough, what pleased me the most was the thorough post shoot catch up. Working as a model for Models Direct for a promotional shoot in a studio was such a fabulous experience, and something completely unknown and new to me of what actually happens BTS in a studio and how all the takes complete a final product!
Models Direct (Gemma) was once again supportive from the beginning with issuing a brief beforehand of what to expect, a check-in phone call the day before the shoot, a follow-up call the day after the shoot and lots of encouragement and praise, thank you! Models Direct nurture us models from start (signing up) to finish (booking jobs) and it is so lovely to experience the care and support given, and something I'm sure doesn't happen with every Agency.
I had such a fun day and am grateful for the opportunity.
