Modelling jobs and more...

First JobWith this being my first job in the industry I didn’t really know what to expect. However from the minute I got to the job I was made to feel at ease but also throughout the day. I met some great people, and these people had previous experience. Which really helped me when doing the still shots, as it was meant to show people having a good enjoyable time.I’m looking forward to seeing the final shots, but also hopefully getting more jobs through models direct.
Considering my profile has only been live for 2 weeks, I hope this puts me in good stead.
The whole process has been very professional, Gemma has been brilliant. Sending me all the relevant info, and stating she’s there if you have any questions.Thanks to all at models direct again!

LUXURY PET CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES
When I saw the advertisement from Models Direct for a dog model, our Sid sounded like he'd fit the bill! He had recently modelled in a local photo shoot for a clothing brand and he was the star of the show!The shoot we attended was for a London based dog clothing and accessories brand that are launching this September and needed some photos for the website and other relevant media. It helped when I was giving Sid commands so that he posed well, and he also got lots of treats for being good. He sat well for what they needed and fell asleep a few times on set - which was sometimes perfect for the image of the photo, but sometimes we did have to wake him up!As he is only five months we were a little worried about his reaction to trains, tubes and the business of London travelling in peak times but he was brilliant and even fell asleep a few times on the journey.The best part of the day for Sid was all the fuss and treats he was getting. He learnt a lot from the day and it did wonders for his training. It’s certainly made me more confident in taking him places and being able to trust his behaviour in different circumstances and environments.I would recommend to other puppy owners to do something like this because it’s excellent for socializing your pup and getting some lovely photos of them while they are still small!We would love to do more of these shoots and hope to build him a portfolio that will allow us to do so more often. It was a great experience for him so we would like to keep it going!

I did a shoot in Manchester and it was so professionally set up in a relaxed environment to say it was for quite a big campaign.
The whole process was very clearly explained by the models direct team and made it easy for me to turn up and just crack on with the task at hand!

Tuesday turned out to be an amazing day! 7.30am saw myself and two other models along with film crew in Battersea Park to shoot an advertisement feature for Birra Moretti promoting a new venture into catering. There were three vintage Fiat 500s along with their owners and the morning saw us being filmed supposedly delivering ingredients to private homes to create food for a dinner party. The highlight of this was being driven backwards and forwards over Albert bridge weaving in and out of the traffic to enable the camera crew to get the shots they needed!! We then moved to a private house to be filmed delivering ingredients and then cooking a meal. It was a fun filled afternoon with much laughter - the video and camera men were brilliant at setting up the shots they needed and so helpful in their directions. The makeup lady ensured we looked our best and supplies of refreshments were readily available when needed. As usual Molly had given clear instructions regarding requirements for the assignment - thank you Models Direct for a memorable day.
