I just wanted to take a moment to thank the entire team at Models Direct for such a wonderful experience during last week’s shoot.
Everything was incredibly organized, and I felt fully supported at every step.
I want to give a special thanks to Gemma she was so kind, attentive, and really went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable.
I’m really grateful to be part of this agency and I can’t wait for what’s next!

We were offered the opportunity to help with a 2 day shoot for a company.
We were given all the required information by our bookings manager and supported right up until we attended our location.
We knew exactly what to expect so were able to go and thoroughly enjoy ourselves.
The photo team were excellent and knew what they were trying to achieve with us doing various activities.
So much fun and lovely people.

1st timeI’d like to start by expressing my genuine appreciation for finally being given the opportunity to take part in the recent commercial shoot for Greene King at Cheadle Hulme. This was my first modeling experience with Models Direct since joining back in 2023, and overall, the day itself was incredibly fulfilling. I thoroughly enjoyed being part of a vibrant set, meeting new people, and contributing to scenes I didn’t expect to be involved in — it truly gave me a glimpse into the potential of what this career could be.
That said, I do feel it’s important to share some honest feedback regarding the process leading up to this point. While I’m grateful for the experience, I can’t ignore the fact that it’s taken nearly three years to receive my first assignment. During this time, I’ve seen others come on board and secure shoots within a couple of months, which has been difficult to witness as someone who’s been committed to the journey since 2023.
I understand that opportunities in this industry can be unpredictable, and that sometimes it’s about timing and fit. However, the wait has been disheartening at times, especially without consistent communication or clarity on how I could have improved my chances. I say this not out of complaint, but out of a sincere desire to be considered more actively moving forward.
The shoot reminded me how much I enjoy this space, and I hope this can be the beginning of more regular opportunities. I’m committed, adaptable, and ready to bring more energy and professionalism to future assignments.

CLIMBING IN CONFIDENCE
The assignment Models Direct sent me on with the National Trust was really good fun but I was very nervous because I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. In this modelling shoot I had to overcome my fear of heights as we were asked to climb a tree for the photos! But the photographer was nice and helped a lot. The tree was easy to climb, there were five of us in the tree and we had lots of pictures taken in different poses. In the end I enjoyed climbing and got more confident as I climbed higher and higher. I think everyone should climb trees because this was what the National Trust says is good for us. I would say that being a model is a great way of doing new things and learning new stuff. If you want to be a model you should join an agency and try to keep your e-portfolio up to date. I did this for the experience and have enjoyed my work as a model.
