First shoot 10/10
I had my first shoot today organised my Gemma from Models Direct, she was amazing start to finish, I was really nervous about it being my first but Gemma reassured me that I would have an amazing time! I really did, the shoot was so fun and the photographer and business owner for the shoot were so nice and fun.
We had a really good day, the photos were a fun style, I enjoyed every bit, the owner was so lovely and was so appreciative of me doing this for her. T
he photographer had me laughing so much so a lot of pictures were genuine laughter.
I would 100% do it again and I can’t wait for my next job!

JUMPING IN THE AIR
At first I was nervous, as I didn’t know what to expect given that this was my first assignment, but meeting the Action Images team and the other models made it really easy for me to just get on with the job. The best part of the assignment was having the pictures taken and acting out scenarios - the experience as a whole was brilliant. The assignment was for the FIFA 2014 World Cup campaign. We were asked to wear colours of the teams that were participating as well as having our faces painted. Once we were all dressed up we had to pretend to celebrate a goal, or jump in the air etc - acting like fans would at a real game. I gained a lot of confidence, as the team made it really easy for me to be myself and just get on with it. I would definitely recommend my experience to others, in fact I already have because I got a lot out of it, and it would be nice if others could so as well.I would highly advise anyone pursuing a career in the talent industry to join an agency, as it just makes the whole process much easier and for a fraction of the cost. My main reason for joining up with Models Direct was because my friends told me I should do modelling and this agency was very appealing to me. I don’t regret it one bit.

I did my first assigment with three other women in a social media content with up and coming brand focused on women of colour.
Our segment was aimed at mature women and we were permitted to discus our various beauty regimes we use,and it's impact on our shades of black skin.
I had an absolutely fantastic first time speaking into" the fluffy mike" . Speaking my truth about my oily skin which some of us most own, and making it work for you.
Being photographed individually and as a group and speaking ,was a little nerve racking but was made to feel very comfortable by the all female cast that facilitated the shoot.
It has given me a little more confidence in performing in front of a camer

I was surprised that I was shortlisted for this position in Business Disability forum in University of Reading by Models Direct for the SECOND assignment.
I arrived at the University on time, which I had to informed the client by texted I was in the building (that was in the Call Sheet) and the client was very pleased and came down to meet and bring me back upstairs to the top floor and the client introduced me to her team, which I felt at ease and the photographer as well. Didn't get the chance to talk with the rest of the models when I arrive, but as day goes on, I was good to fit in nicely with the models as well.
A productive day for me, I had to work closely with the photographer (she had to walk through or around to point direction for me to take or having a small conversation with the model that I am paired with or just having an eye contact etc) and the model for showing or demonstrated how to do this or that. The client had to be involved in each department (it was nice to explore and to take part in this projects) of how the layout of myself and others models to be, as working together as a team work. Example, I had to deal with a sick patient in knowing in how much pain she could be in etc. I was also working in a laboratory using scientific methods by demonstrated it in how to or use it etc by assisting him. I got to work as staff in the University Reception and having customers come over to me and ask me questions or advice, direction, or interest of where to go etc. This is such a lovely experience for me and the rest of the models that took part in this incredible interesting Business Disability forum.
