I had the opportunity to be part of the Greene King modelling shoot, and overall it was a smooth and relaxed day, though quite slow-paced.
I arrived at 9 AM and spent the majority of the morning, until around midday, in the waiting room with the rest of the talent. The team was friendly and accommodating, and there was a chilled atmosphere, but there wasn’t much going on for most of that time. We then had an hour-long lunch break from 12 to 1 PM, which gave us a good chance to recharge and catch up with others on set.
After lunch, I was called onto set and spent about an hour and a half standing at the bar, acting as a background extra while the main shots were taken. It was straightforward and easy to follow direction, and the production crew were clear with what they needed. Once that wrapped, it was back to the waiting area again, where we stayed until we were dismissed.
Although there wasn’t a huge amount of activity throughout the day, the environment was positive, and everyone was easy to work with

This lovely video feedback from our model Zane for his assignment filming a commercial for Pukka pads last week! On Wednesday I had my first assignment through Models Direct. We did 2 commercials for Pukka Pads. One was for a Puka Fun Colouring Book where we used iPads to scan it and it would come to life and it was really cool. The second one was for this really cool putty and I had just an amazing time.

Excellent service and wonderful experience.
I had my first booking with Models Direct today. It was a Charity Photoshoot to raise awareness about Crohn's and Colitis.
It was a moving experience meeting and speaking people with Crohn's Disease. They were really kind and very open to discussions, which I found insightful.
The ambience all through the charity shoot was very welcoming and so lovely. The term, models and all were all so pleasant and inclusive and so it felt more like a wonderful outing with family and friends. This made me feel less nervous and more relaxed.
All the information I received from Gemma from the initial telephone call, emails and messages up to the date of the shoot was most helpful. Thank you Gemma. Thank you so much. I had a great experience and I thank Models Direct immensely for the opportunity of being a part of this amazing charity shoot.

Today was my very first ad shoot, and I have to say, it was an exciting, fun-filled, and eye-opening experience.
From the moment I arrived at the studio, there was a buzz of energy in the air. The team was welcoming, and everyone seemed to be in their zone, preparing for what would turn out to be an unforgettable day. As we got started with the first few shots, I was amazed at how many people were behind the scenes, coordinating everything to perfection. The lighting, camera angles, and even the smallest details were all being adjusted to ensure the best results.
It was fascinating to see all the effort that goes into creating a perfect shot. While I expected there to be a lot of waiting around and setting up, the team made it smooth and fun with music, laughter, and light conversation. By midday, I felt like I had settled into my role and was having a blast.
It was not just about posing; it was about feeling the moment and connecting with the camera. I definitely felt more comfortable as the day went on, and there were several moments where I genuinely enjoyed being in front of the camera.
I would also thank my agent, Charlie, for her constand and prompt response to every query I had and in making this process as smooth and memorable as possible for me. In short, my first ad shoot was a thrilling experience. It was everything I hoped for and more, and I can’t wait to do it again!
