PLAYING A UNIVERSITY STUDENT
I was very nervous beforehand as this was my first job, but it was a very enjoyable experience. There was a lot of waiting around but the actual shoot was really fun. I had to act as a university student who had built a solar car with two other Models Direct models. The team were very helpful and nice and it was a great experience - it has definitely made me feel more confident to do further jobs. I decided to choose this agency as it gave me a wider choice of work, not just modelling, but also dancing and performing.

This was an amazing professional 4 hour video/photography shoot showcasing a particular product. Anna and I had so much fun in the kitchen decorating cookies and making pizza. Beautiful location, we were well looked after by the crew with lunch, refreshments and a great chic wardrobe of clothes to wear on set! Great communication from Charlie at Models Direct as always.

Firstly, everyone involved in the shoot was absolutely lovely and welcoming.
The company did really well to provide us with everything that we needed, they looked out for us and this made the shoot much more relaxed. Also, they did really well to explain the purpose of the shoot and what was expected of us which really helped with getting into the right mindset.
I worked both indoors and outdoors portraying a homeless teenager in need of aid and then getting provided with the necessary aid. Working on the streets of Lewisham also helped in order to see the situations homeless people find themselves in. Being in the actual environment was really useful as it allowed me to see exactly what homeless people go through and this only helped me portray a homeless teenager better.The shoot was really fun and this is down to not only my love of being in front of camera but also the team we worked with were not just kind but also fun to work with.
The shoot was similar to how I expected by reading the brief but was different to how I expected in terms of how easy it was to work with the team. Also on a personal note this first experience really helped me to realise that being in front of camera is when I am in my element.
