I did my first assigment with three other women in a social media content with up and coming brand focused on women of colour.
Our segment was aimed at mature women and we were permitted to discus our various beauty regimes we use,and it's impact on our shades of black skin.
I had an absolutely fantastic first time speaking into" the fluffy mike" . Speaking my truth about my oily skin which some of us most own, and making it work for you.
Being photographed individually and as a group and speaking ,was a little nerve racking but was made to feel very comfortable by the all female cast that facilitated the shoot.
It has given me a little more confidence in performing in front of a camer

This was our very first assignment and I must we were nervous at first the whole team were so warm, friendly, welcoming and made us feel at ease immediately. They were very polite and generous with drinks and refreshments. Very happy with the whole set up. Instructions given beforehand by our talent agent were so clear and precise. This was my first time doing a shoot.Alice the organiser for the shoot was fantastic and made me feel at ease straight away.Paul the photographer certainly knew his stuff and we had some good laughs.My co models were all lovely.The only sort of down side was the weather, it rained and rained and the wind was more like November or December instead of May.But, saying that I still enjoyed the day and it was a great experience.
