Firstly, everyone involved in the shoot was absolutely lovely and welcoming.
The company did really well to provide us with everything that we needed, they looked out for us and this made the shoot much more relaxed. Also, they did really well to explain the purpose of the shoot and what was expected of us which really helped with getting into the right mindset.
I worked both indoors and outdoors portraying a homeless teenager in need of aid and then getting provided with the necessary aid. Working on the streets of Lewisham also helped in order to see the situations homeless people find themselves in. Being in the actual environment was really useful as it allowed me to see exactly what homeless people go through and this only helped me portray a homeless teenager better.The shoot was really fun and this is down to not only my love of being in front of camera but also the team we worked with were not just kind but also fun to work with.
The shoot was similar to how I expected by reading the brief but was different to how I expected in terms of how easy it was to work with the team. Also on a personal note this first experience really helped me to realise that being in front of camera is when I am in my element.

It did go really well, I struggled a bit to find the exact meeting place, but with a little help, I then found it. After that it went very good, I met the photographer and his companion, which were really nice and friendly.We went to the town and took lots of pictures, which I enjoyed a lot. Enjoyed the view same time, as haven’t been to the place before.In general, was really good experience, thank you very much to all the parties involved, and I look forward to any other fotoshooting opportunity. Everybody at Karndean Flooring was most welcoming and made both Fleur (my Great Dane) and I feel at home. We had to complete 3 different shots - two stills and one video. The crews were very patient and explained exactly what they wanted so I was able to direct Fleur accordingly. Fleur and I would definitely like do similar work in the future. The whole day was worthwhile and the venue was very suitable for animals as there was plenty of space for exercising them between shots. My advice to other aspiring pet models and owners? Relax and give it a go!
