Yesterday I had another great shoot thanks to Models Direct, this time it was a photoshoot for a London based sewing company called the Avid Seamstress. As always, I was given all the necessary information beforehand from Molly, plus I attended a casting a few weeks ago to ensure I was right for the job, so the day went very smoothly. We shot lots of different looks over the course of the day, with brilliant direction given from the fantastic photographer, Iurana. The client Lisa was so lovely to work with and was even kind enough to give me a gorgeous bunch of flowers at the end of day. I'm really looking forward to seeing the photos!"

For my first job with ModelsDirect, I couldn't have had a better experience. From before the shoot, everything was well organised and ModelsDirect were so helpful. The location was great at the studio in East London, and as soon as I got there the whole team were so accommodating and friendly, I felt really comfortable from the get go. Despite the hot weather, the whole team did the best they could to look after us during the shoot, making sure we constantly had water, and even buying us ice lollies at one point! The whole day was great fun, meeting other models from ModelsDirect and the guys from Sky Sports, and all the hair, make up and production team. I joined Models Direct after I took semi-retirement and had a bit more spare time on my hands. I am a fairly confident person and love meeting new people. I wanted to do something completely different and it seemed like a fun and interesting thing to do. This was my first assignment and I was booked to pose as part of a couple using Airport Parking Facilities for a holiday company. The assignment took place near Aberdeen Airport and was over three days. I didn't quite know what to expect, but I needn't have worried as the crew were fantastic at putting me at ease and explaining exactly what they needed from me. I thoroughly enjoyed working with my partner and the crew and learned about the process of shooting an advert. I found the whole experience totally enjoyable and really exciting, and would certainly like to do more work like this in the future. I think it has been a great move for me to join Models Direct as they have managed the whole booking process with professionalism. They have also been extremely encouraging and supportive.
