Models direct got me a great first job!
It was an incredibly different job to what I thought my first job would be but it was so interesting and easy to work with the client and Gemma at MD.
I worked at a dermatology convention on a body scanning machine and it helped build my confidence and they made me feel so welcome.
The client and all the team were so great to work with. I also worked alongside another model from the agency.
This experience was a great job and great working with models direct who helped with parking, travel and getting the job right.
This was great fun meeting all the client and being part of the convention for a few days.

I was so so impressed with the location of my latest shoot… wooow it was just like a real hospital and AE, A 4 bed ward and the morgue all so realistic. All the other model wers so friendly and was very interesting to hear all the stories. The directing was very clear with all attention to detail, as was the photographer make sure all angles were just right! For their very first job with Models Direct, Sophia & Freya had the amazing opportunity to do a video call with Santa at home. Prior to the project they were not told and they were delighted to get to speak to Father Christmas. I on the other hand was briefed by mail from the company and calls with production both the night before and on the morning to go over all the specifics and details for the day. Due to this the call went really well and Santa was on the phone with both girls for 15 minutes and was very patient with them both as they were very excited. He took time to ask and answer questions and helped unwittingly get the girls to deliver some great content – they even discovered Santa can roll his tongue after asking him. Afterwards production made it easy to send over my content and we are looking forward to seeing the finished result. The girls can’t stop talking about it and can’t wait until they get to do another job. Thanks Models Direct!

Firstly, everyone involved in the shoot was absolutely lovely and welcoming.
The company did really well to provide us with everything that we needed, they looked out for us and this made the shoot much more relaxed. Also, they did really well to explain the purpose of the shoot and what was expected of us which really helped with getting into the right mindset.
I worked both indoors and outdoors portraying a homeless teenager in need of aid and then getting provided with the necessary aid. Working on the streets of Lewisham also helped in order to see the situations homeless people find themselves in. Being in the actual environment was really useful as it allowed me to see exactly what homeless people go through and this only helped me portray a homeless teenager better.The shoot was really fun and this is down to not only my love of being in front of camera but also the team we worked with were not just kind but also fun to work with.
The shoot was similar to how I expected by reading the brief but was different to how I expected in terms of how easy it was to work with the team. Also on a personal note this first experience really helped me to realise that being in front of camera is when I am in my element.
