I recently had the opportunity to work with Models Direct for a project with Monopoly, and it was an incredible experience. From start to finish, the team was professional and supportive, making me feel welcome and valued. The atmosphere was energetic and creative, which added to the excitement of being part of such an iconic brand. Throughout the process, I learned so much about the modeling industry, including how to pose effectively and the importance of teamwork on set. The guidance from the directors and fellow models was invaluable, helping me to grow my skills and confidence. I truly appreciated the emphasis on creativity and collaboration, which made every moment enjoyable. Overall, my experience with Models Direct has been one of the highlights of my career. I left the project feeling inspired and eager to pursue more opportunities in the modeling world. Firstly, everyone involved in the shoot was absolutely lovely and welcoming.
The company did really well to provide us with everything that we needed, they looked out for us and this made the shoot much more relaxed. Also, they did really well to explain the purpose of the shoot and what was expected of us which really helped with getting into the right mindset.
I worked both indoors and outdoors portraying a homeless teenager in need of aid and then getting provided with the necessary aid. Working on the streets of Lewisham also helped in order to see the situations homeless people find themselves in. Being in the actual environment was really useful as it allowed me to see exactly what homeless people go through and this only helped me portray a homeless teenager better.The shoot was really fun and this is down to not only my love of being in front of camera but also the team we worked with were not just kind but also fun to work with.
The shoot was similar to how I expected by reading the brief but was different to how I expected in terms of how easy it was to work with the team. Also on a personal note this first experience really helped me to realise that being in front of camera is when I am in my element.
