Organising the shoot was really smooth. Charlie, at Models direct was amazing, keeping us informed, sending information and answering all our questions.
This was our sons first shoot, with me tagging a long. We did a son and father shoot for a new campaign. We got their in plenty of time. Both me and son were nervous as we were not sure what to expect. But the shoot crew were really nice and down to earth and made the whole experience really fun and enjoyable.
We took photos and videos performing some of the new online trends and playing games. My son had a great time, especially laughing at me.
The crew were amazing, keeping us informed, working with us to get the photos and videos right and coaching and explaing to my son. We were at the shoot for about 4 hours which was about right, we had drinks, breaks and lots of laughs. Couldnt ask for a better first time experience.

For their very first job with Models Direct, Sophia & Freya had the amazing opportunity to do a video call with Santa at home. Prior to the project they were not told and they were delighted to get to speak to Father Christmas. I on the other hand was briefed by mail from the company and calls with production both the night before and on the morning to go over all the specifics and details for the day. Due to this the call went really well and Santa was on the phone with both girls for 15 minutes and was very patient with them both as they were very excited. He took time to ask and answer questions and helped unwittingly get the girls to deliver some great content – they even discovered Santa can roll his tongue after asking him. Afterwards production made it easy to send over my content and we are looking forward to seeing the finished result. The girls can’t stop talking about it and can’t wait until they get to do another job. Thanks Models Direct!

I had the pleasure of participating in a shoot today, and I wanted to share my experience. The day began with a warm welcome at reception, where I enjoyed a refreshing cup before heading to the set. There, I met Chris Golding, whose exuberance whose and detailed briefing set the tone for the day. His perspective in the country setting and clear outline of the project were both engaging and informative.
Caitlin, one of the key team members then arrived, while others assumed their roles. I was particularly struck by the fact that two of the carers featured were real-life community staff. Their soothing presence and dedication brought a genuine energy which was infectious.
The photographer’s expertise was exceptional, with some great lighting and angles for every scene. The shoot was a pleasure, thanks to the variety of backdrops—kitchen, living room, bedroom, garden, and market—each thoughtfully scouted. Some scenes were bathed in soft pastel hues, while others, like the riverside walk, were beautifully dappled, creating a joyful atmosphere. The focused nature of the work yet on such a pleasant day was disciplining.
The shoot balanced the challenge of portraying the emotional weight of separation with the need to make the living accommodation accessible and appealing. Having experienced loss myself last year, I found the sensitivity with which this was handled quite moving.

Was great to meet everyone and was so lovely of the team to provide refreshments and lunch and bottles of water through out the day. I think the toilets would be better for changing in the future. Had a great time, the team welcomed us at the door and led us to the comfy seating area to wait our turn. Lovely setting. Met lots of new people and I like that we got to do a bit of everything, lots of laughter, smiles and fun. Clear direction and everyone was fab.
