Well, follow these simple steps to a successful choice, book and photo shoot…
1 Who are you appealing to?
Sit down with your team to bounce a few ideas around and decide who you are appealing to. You want a model (or models) to represent the consumer you are targeting. This is where Models Direct can help, as we represent a huge array of everyday models. These are people who reflect genuine members of the public – those who will be buying your products and investing in your services or responding to your campaign in another way. We have male and female models of all ages, looks, body shapes, heritages and backgrounds on our books. We also represent babies, children and pets.
2 Send us your modelling brief
Tell us more about the model you think you would like. Let us know if you have an idea of their approximate age, look and level of experience. Tell us more about what they will have to do on the day, where they need to be and whether they should bring anything with them. Our co-ordinators are extremely experienced at helping clients to find just the right model for their brand campaigns, so please don’t worry if the image of the person you need is still hazy. Just tell us as much as you can!
3 We will contact you
During the working week (Monday to Friday), a co-ordinator will contact you the same day. They will discuss your requirements further, ask you for more information if required and fill in any gaps. If this is the first time we have worked with you, they will need to know more about you and your organisation. They will also need to gain a good understanding of the shoot itself, as we take great care to ensure the safety and well-being of our models. If you are still unsure as to exactly what kind of model you require, they will help you to bring things into focus and perhaps make some helpful suggestions. They will also discuss the fee with you.
4 You will receive a shortlist
The team member dealing with your request will send you a shortlist of suitable models to consider. You can consider this at your leisure but we would, of course, encourage speed if your assignment is to take place soon. We are used to working quickly, but the sooner you make your decision, the sooner we can approach our model to check availability.
5 Make your choice
Our clients always make the final choice as to which model (or models) they would like to employ. The next stage is therefore for you to make your selection from our shortlist. From this point onwards will be the liaison between you and the model.
6 We will manage the admin
We will discuss all the arrangements for the assignment with the model. We will also handle the contracts, logistics and all other administration, including payment to the model. If there are any issues from either side, we will smooth them out.
