We would love to tell you more about what happens in our busy office.
As a leading British modelling agency, Models Direct always has something exciting going on – and no one day is ever quite like another!
The phones ring, the emails ping in and our dedicated team is always hard at work responding to clients, finding assignments for models and offering advice and guidance to those considering joining us.
Having operated at the very heart of the modelling industry for more than 35 years now, those who model with us can expect to be put forward for a whole host of different jobs.
Clients from around the county and beyond approach us for female, male, child and pet models for all sorts of projects.
These might be for photo or film shoots for advertisements, campaigns and marketing projects to promote products or they might be for small acting roles, film extra parts or even walk-on jobs for TV shows or videos.
We love the variety of work that passes through our agency and we are always overjoyed to team up with all sorts of companies, brands, television channels and film producers.
Because our models range from babes in arms right up to mature models in their 80s, we are in a prime position to be able to respond to almost any request from our clients.
And no one loves a challenge more than we do!
Our clients contact us via the form on our website or by email or phone.
Those who work with us regularly have their own personal contacts within our agency – members of our team who understand them and the way they work and can respond accordingly.
When any request for a model (or models – sometimes we are asked for two, three or even 20 people!) comes in, our agents sift through those on our books to find people who match the specific requirements.
They check factors such as whether the model is prepared to travel to that location, how recent the photos on the e-portfolio are (we do need to know they are up to date) and whether this is the kind of job the model has put themselves forward for.
Then they send a shortlist of potential models through to the client.
From this selection, our client chooses the person (or people) they would like and our member of staff contacts them to tell them more and see if they would like to accept the assignment.
And, if they do, from that moment on, they will liaise with the model, inform them of any updates on the booking and be available to answer questions.
We also have agents who take the time to call each and every person who applies to join Models Direct – or applies on behalf of their child or pet.
We believe that no matter how busy we are, this is an essential part of our process.
We need to know that the person wishing to join us has a good understanding of how the modelling industry and our agency work.
We believe in transparency and honesty, which is why we always, without exception, stress to every single person who makes an application to Models Direct that we can never promise to find work for anyone.
Quite simply, this is because our clients choose who they would like.
So, you can just imagine what our office is like – the sound of phones, the clicking of keyboards and the friendly chatter of our agents.
These amazing people have to make arrangements, smooth over complications and sometimes find models for jobs at very short notice.
But, however busy they are, they always do a sterling job.
Just read the incredible feedback we receive from the many, many models we have organised work for over the years and you will see just how true this is.
For example, after Steve’s job with BMW, he said:
