We’re straightforward, we’re direct. This is Models Direct’s section of all the delightful modelling news you can currently find.
We hope that this title has grabbed your attention because it’s true – if you’re thinking about becoming a model or are already one, then rest assured that London is not the only place you can become a model or find an amazing modelling opportunity.
Our UK modelling agency knows that this is true. We’ve been in the industry for 35 years now, and we’ve seen our talent get booked across the UK, not just in the capital, with great brands and companies.
Our newborn models, baby models, junior models, adult models, and senior models have seen great success in England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. Oh yes, and our pet models too!
Models Direct’s clients are always looking to hire our diverse range of models, where they’ve curated just the best campaigns perfect to fulfil their marketing vision. This could be indoors or outdoors in cities, towns, and villages, including London. Projects could include photoshoots for commercial modelling, catalogue modelling, or even on-the-ground promotional modelling.
We’ll give you the lowdown on where our models have recently worked:
Lauren (KYBQ-9888) was booked for the Southampton Boat Show, and she expressed the following:
“Working with Models Direct at the Southampton Boat Show was such a positive experience. Communication from Gemma was spot on from the beginning – she kept me in the loop with everything and made sure I felt prepared, which honestly made such a difference.
The day itself was really fun and relaxed, and I felt comfortable the whole time. It was a great chance to also meet new people, try something different, and gain more experience in a busy, exciting environment. I came away feeling really happy with how it all went and thankful for the opportunity.”
Next up, Alex (HTDF-7374) was hired for Scotland Kilt Company. Heading towards Edinburgh for the photoshoot, he thoroughly enjoyed his time and left us with this great review:
“I had a fantastic time on a shoot for The Scottish Kilt Company in Edinburgh. The team was great, everyone pitched in and did their bit. It was my first shoot with Models Direct after signing with them in 2022, so I was glad to get some local work. Looking forward to the next one.”
Our male model, Herbert (C772146), joined Newark Invacare on set in Wales, which is definitely a lot further away from London, but a great modelling opportunity in any case. He left this for us to include in this blog:
“If there is anything better than being told you have been selected for a job, it is receiving the news that a company you have worked for in the past wants you back again. This proved to be the case when I was called on by Invacare, based in South Wales, so it was with a happy heart I set off for the Principality. On the first occasion, the shoot took place in their own premises, but this time it was in the Pinegate Photo Studios, not easy to find if your sat-nav doesn’t accept the postcode code, but well worth the effort. The welcome I received was that usually accorded to the prodigal son, so I can only offer the crew my thanks for their kindness and friendliness, making a long trip worthwhile and, of course, to Molly Robinson at Models Direct, who works so hard on my behalf, thank you, Molly.”

Amrit (SMBH-9989), who was booked in Liverpool to showcase the Royal Liver Building.
Sarah (MYKG-3973) was selected for Care South in Ringwood, Hampshire.
Amar (YZQB-3893) was on a modelling mission in Oxford for a bridegroom role.
Other cities of interest intertwined with clients’ names have included: Yorkshire Council, Birmingham Evening News, Bluewater Shopping Centre, Bradford’s Building Merchants, Doncaster Racecourse, Dundee Heritage Trust, Exeter College, Fife Council, Swansea Council, and many more.
So, is London the only place to be a model? No chance! With Models Direct behind our talent every step of the way, other locations happen to be really important for our clients to have their marketing campaign photographed and filmed at locations other than London. The areas we see come through our inboxes or over the phone span across the length and breadth of the UK, truly encompassing every part of the country.
