Here at Models Direct, we often work with leading national charities and care organisations – and this time we teamed up with one of London’s best-known names.
St Martin-in-the-Fields, with its iconic church at Trafalgar Square, is a pioneer in the work it does to help homeless people.
And it approached Models Direct for a selection of male, female and child models to help highlight what it does through a series of photographs.

We came up with a selection of suitable people – and from our shortlist, the client selected models Gareth, Magdalena, Ruslan, David, Laura, Darcie, Isla, Leo, Femi and Peter, as well as the aptly named Charity.
The assignment, which ran across two shoots, with different groups of models, was to promote the work done by the Connection at St Martin’s.
This is a day centre opposite Charing Cross Station, which provides shelter away from the busy London streets.
Here, the door is open to the most vulnerable, offering them whatever they need, from a fresh shower and space to nap to job opportunities and eventually a home.
Our models all played the parts of people who have been supported by the charity because, sadly, homelessness could affect anyone.
The client was delighted with the reliability, confidence and performance of all our individuals.
Afterwards, they came back to us and said:
“Yesterday was a huge success.
“The kids were brilliant, and Laura too.
“They were so well behaved and really professional – in fact, Darcie and Isla especially were better than many adult models I’ve worked with over the years!
“They’ve got bright futures ahead of them.
“Peter and Femi were also great in front of the camera.”
