Well, it’s been a great summer and, let’s face it, you are probably going through some mixed emotions at the moment.

In some ways, it will be a huge relief to get your youngsters back to school and life into something of a more normal rhythm…

Apply to be a model

But at the same time, you will miss their smiling faces and having that special family time together over the holidays.

As the new school year begins and the weather starts to cool, it can be a great time to start new activities, either as a family or for your son or daughter as an individual.

This is when kids often start new clubs, activities and hobbies – and, for some of them, this could, of course, include modelling.

Here at Models Direct, autumn is always a particularly busy season for us.

Not only is it a time when many potential models consider joining us but it is also a busy period for the marketing companies, advertisers and media agencies who may be seeking models.

This is when many of our end clients may well be preparing for their major campaigns of the following year and looking for the new faces of their big brands.

Having operated at the heart of the modelling industry for over 35 years now, we have counted many of the best-known names in the world as our clients.

We have supplied models for end clients including Microsoft, Sony, Apple, Amazon and McDonald’s, to name just a handful…

And, of course, big British names call upon us regularly too – think Morrisons, Holland & Barrett, B&Q and Greene King…

These days the vast majority of our clients are looking for everyday models to play the parts of normal members of the public in their promotions.

Hire a model

This is why we always stress that age, size, shape and appearance should never be a barrier to anyone considering modelling – we welcome applications from anyone at all who is keen to give it a go.

But, it is also true, that certain clients also require both adult and child models with that special something to be the faces of particular brands.

And this is why we would love to hear from you if you think your son or daughter has that special sparkle, goofy grin or cheeky look they might be looking for.

They don’t need to have modelling experience, they just have to be friendly, confident and happy to follow instructions.

Read the feedback from the parents of youngsters who have modelled for us before, then simply fill in our form and send us a couple of photos.

The start of the school year could also be the start of something new and different – and before you know it, it could be your little one smiling out from an advertisement or promotion!

This is what Rhys’s family told us after he modelled for McDonald’s:

“Brilliant communication and organisation – a big thanks to Molly who made everything really clear and easy.

“The whole morning was great and it was made fun for the kids too.

“A big thumbs up from us!”

Chloe modelled for Aviva and this was the feedback afterwards:

“My 11-year-old daughter Chloe had an amazing photo shoot for Aviva last week.

“She had an awesome time and everyone there made her feel very welcome and she was comfortable straight away.

“The communication with Models Direct was perfect from beginning to end.

“Charlie and Justine kept us up to date with information and checked in with us before and after the shoot, they were amazing.

“Chloe was buzzing after and she cannot wait to do more work.

“What a fab experience for Chloe for her first photo shoot.

“Thank you.”
