Everyone was very friendly and easy to work with, it made the day very enjoyable!
I had such a fun day doing this eyewear modelling shoot. Everyone was very friendly and easy to work with, it made the day very enjoyable. A small group of us were modelling a whole range of eyewear in various settings to be used for promotional material. For me I need to balance my availability with the style of shoot and this complimented really well. I look forward to shooting similar assignments!

Although a long day it was very enjoyable. The crew and other models were fun to work with and interesting to talk to. We were put into different scenarios including a train station and a hospital, and the lead photographer kept a good pace throughout the day. I would recommend modelling to anyone, it's great fun to do something different and to meet new people. I decided to join Models Direct not just for some extra money but because I'm quite outgoing and for me this was a very fun thing to do - a cracking day!

Great experience, the crew was friendly and patient. I enjoyed the diversity of the shots, whereby I was acting as NHS consultant. I have definitely learned some new skills, thanks Models Direct! I would recommend this to everyone looking for fun and some extra cash.

It was a really interesting if slightly nervous experience filming for J.Walkers Productions. A great insight into all aspects of filming in front of and behind camera. I was allowed to be creative with my lines and also had a hand in suggestions for angles and locations.
The assignment involved a ten minute scripted two page dialogue between myself and the actor Bryan Lawrence (Soldier Soldier/London's Burning).
It was a promotional video for a software company based in America targeted at the Internet as opposed to mainstream TV.
I would highly recommend this to anyone thinking of doing it.
I signed up to Models Direct because acting is an art that intrigues me and something I always wanted to be tested by as I have years of experience in front of large audiences as a big band lead vocalist.
A superb three hours! Thank you!

It was a really nice experience, it was relaxing and fun. I wasn't nervous at all.I would definitely do it again! The most enjoyable part of the assignment was that everything was rolling smooth and easy,no high pressure, only good vibes. The assignment involved shooting in several poses as a cleaning person for a company that provides this kind of services. I was instructed to be normal and not over act, because it would look fake. I learned how to pose and keep my stature so I can look good in pictures. If someone wanted to join the industry, I would recommend to join an agency like Models Direct because they can provide support, helpful tips and they put you in contact with possible employers. I decided to join up because of ambition and the extra income so I'm really looking forward to more work.

My duties involved carrying out the step by step duties of a nurse on a daily basis. First I had to prepare fluids which I was to administer to a patient, then we had the hand washing session, patient mobilization, reporting to the doctor on ward rounds.

Today I took part in a great assignment offered to me by Models Direct whereby I had to attend a location and model a new clothing range for the Textile Center of Excellence.
I was quite nervous at first but within the first 10 minutes of talking to the director and the 2x photographers I was put at ease.
The shoot lasted for 8hrs and I can honestly say I have gained a lot of professional tips and my confidence has grown also. The day was exciting and enjoyable throughout and everyone was very kind and professional. The photographers direction was excellent and they also were very thorough in getting the correct shot for the style of look they were after.
I would recommend this hobby/career to anyone that has the thought to pursue it.
Thanks Models Direct for my assignment and I look forward to more in the future.

This was my second film shoot through Models Direct and it was fantastic! I got to be driven in an ambulance all day, being filmed in a 'Top Gear' style from a car with overtaking and flying around the countryside of Kent. My part involved me being carried around for most of the day by two burly paramedics who strapped me into a carry chair. I was filmed being carried up and down the stairs, in and out of the ambulance and also in and out of the main entrance to a Hospital, which caused a few heads to turn when we arrived with cameras etc. I'm most probably on a few mobile phones too from the people watching us outside!
All in all an absolutely brilliant day, and so many laughs throughout the day! Bring it on Models Direct, I want more of this paid fun!!

I had a lot of fun being a model for the Textile Center of Excellence.
I got to model an interesting selection of clothes, the most enjoyable part was getting to see some of the photos as we went along.
The assignment involved modelling different outfits by a few different designers and had some video clips taken of us too.
I wouldn't say I learned any new skills as I have done many shoots before so I knew what to expect beforehand.
I would recommend the experience to others, it is a lot of fun as you get to meet interesting people that you probably wouldn't meet otherwise. Everyone is so nice within the industry.
Joining an agency can be quite difficult as most will always find someway of putting you down which can put you off pursuing modelling as a career. I've been quite lucky doing a lot of freelance work which has helped me to get work with a whole bunch of photographers.
Models Direct allowed me to get my foot in the door and they found me some work which no agency has managed for me as of yet.

This was my first assignment through Models Direct and I had a good time! The client was welcoming and friendly, and the photographer guided me through all the requirements to ensure all criteria was met. We spent several hours in different locations taking many photos which I really enjoyed.

Today I was lucky enough to participate in my first paid modelling job with Xavier Athletica. Having had a few shoots before I didn't feel as nervous as I did the first time I had modelled. Nevertheless I was partially nervous yet excited at the same time. We shot in a variety of beautiful locations around West London where I was fortunate enough to wear the client's high quality clothing range. I posed for many casual shots such as drinking coffee as well as some running and cycling shots. I would thoroughly recommend the experience to others who are looking to get into modelling. It was great fun and I enjoyed every moment of it. My advice for those who would wish to break into the industry is to just be patient and when your opportunity comes around to grasp it with both hands and enjoy yourself. I am looking forward to updating my portfolio using the shots from today's work and cannot wait to see how they have turned out.
My desire to gain experience in modelling was the main reason as to why I decided to join up with Models Direct. Having seen the success of existing clients, I spent no time making my decision to join them. I hope that this is that start of many experiences and that I enjoy them as much as I did today. Thank you Xavier Athletica and thank you Models Direct!

I wasn't nervous for my assignment to begin with. When I got there I was introduced to the crew including the Director and others. It's something that I always wanted to do, the really enjoyable part was the way we were treated with respect, always making sure we had what we wanted.
The assignment involved promoting the new range of Steelcase furniture in a modern office setting. I've learned lots of new skills being in this type of work & I would recommend it anyone who is interested in this industry especially if you like to be in front of a camera.
The only advice I can give is that when you get the opportunities, make them it count! Be friendly, ask when you don't understand and always smile! That in its self, will make things very easy for you as well as being confidence in what you doing and showing your enthusiasm and commitment.
I joined Models Direct after being referred by someone who said they would give me great opportunities. From what I have done and seen so far Models Direct is the best.
Thanks for making my dream come true!

It was a very enjoyable day and something very different than I have never done before. I wasn't nervous at all because I had spoken to both Molly my contact at Models Direct and Chris from Hayes & Finch and they both were very nice and helpful and kept me at ease. I was modelling new robes and accessories for vicars and priests. I had to pose in some standard poses as well as some that looked more priest like. It was a good laugh and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I joined Models Direct because they put you forward for lots of different jobs that you'd never even think of and look after you in any way possible such as getting travel costs added to the pay for the job.

It feels great to be a model. I was not nervous at all, it felt like a normal life with no pressure. I had fun with the photographer, the ladies dressing me in different gowns and shirts and also Chris who hired me. It was so good representing Models Direct. I will like to do this again and something different e.g. acting in a movie or anything else to gain more and more experience in this business. The most enjoyable part of my assignment today was seeing myself being respected and treated like an important person in something I like to do. I have definitely gained experience and confidence doing this sort of job. I will encourage anybody to do this sort of work as I see it as a good profession and so interesting, especially being paid as well. It is so good being represented by an agency such as Models Direct because half of the job is done by your representative (coach) such as Molly. I feel confident now updating my e-portfolio and to prove that I have done this sort of job to other companies. The reason why I joined Models Direct is simply to get lots of experience, and it feels nice to feel wanted in your job and respected.

I must admit I was nervous this being my first assignment but also very excited. I was early and slowly more models came and we all got on from the start, and from there onward I knew it was going to be a brilliant day - which it was! The weather could not of been better for the venue. The Fort was amazing, an outstanding hotel with staff who made the day the best experience I have ever had, and believe me I've had a few experiences, but nothing compares to this.
I would love to do this more and more and I found a new confidence posing in different scenarios and dressing to fit that occasion. Signing up to Models Direct has helped me, and having spoken to other models on the day, I realise the importance of having good quality photos on your portfolio in order to gain more bookings. I personally would like to do more and be pushed down that route, especially now there's a possibility of new photos from the shoot to add to the my portfolio.

What an incredible day at an amazing venue with really lovely people. We met early at Portsmouth quay to get in a boat to be taken to the venue, a historic fort that has been converted into a bespoke hotel. The assignment crew and other models were brilliant and made a long day enjoyable by making sure everyone always had a smile on their face. There were various shoots involving dining in restaurants, getting married and posing in a hot tub. Working with a structure through Models Direct agency ensured everything was professionally handled and as a model I was looked after and tended to. The Models Direct experience is helping me live the dream!

Thank you Models Direct for giving me the opportunity to be part of this assignment. This time I was modelling for the exclusive hotel: Solent Forts Amazing Venues in Portsmouth. I worked together with other three models. We posed as hotel guests in several situations. The weather was so fantastic that we were taken for a photo shoot on the boat too. Great experiences, an exciting day. I love to do modeling work and am glad that I chose your agency to help me with it. I hope more work opportunities will come soon. Thank you. Lukasz

I enjoyed taking part in the assignment at Newfield Lodge at Castleford near Leeds. It was great and we all had fun and laughter during the shoot, and I would love to do do it again. The most enjoyable moment during the different takes and the breaks was getting to know and talking to other male and female models from Talent Management and having a good conversation, asking them about their experiences on different assignments. During the day we had to dress like the other residents in the lodge and take part in different rooms with different scenes and settings in one the takes. At one point, we were asked to take part in playing a card game, boules and skittles and also dominos.
I definitely picked up some new skills on the shoot. Having said that, while I was in Australia I joined the Academy School of Modeling in Collins Street Melbourne and then went on to Drama School of Acting and Television with Crawford Productions Film and Television later on. I was given TV extra parts in soaps and a few months later I was asked if I would like to join the cast of Division 4 (television police series). I then did a feature film called Ryan for Channel 7 Dorcas Street Melbourne, which in one scene I was involved in a fight including stunt work, from there I did anther police series called Matlock Police at Channel O Nudawading just outside of Melbourne. It's a good trade to be in TV, radio and stage productions as well as modeling. It's all down to experience and hard work. I would recommend joining a drama group to go a stage further in this industry.
In the talent industry, you meet such a lot of different types of people and you can gain such a lot of experience just by watching and listening. The reason I joined up with Talent Management was to be able to continue with modeling from the experience I had in Australia and to pursue further assignments and earn a lot of money in the meantime.
